What do they do when you go and get your nails done?

I’ve never had my nails done professionally and my friend is taking me to get them done tonight. What all do they do? I know I’ll have tips put on but I don’t know how they do it. I’m also getting a pedicure. What all do they do? Thanks for any info you can provide!

What about this for my bridal party gift?

I am on a tight budget so I was thinking about doing a gift bag with 3 or 4 items from bath and body works for my girls(I have 6) and then paying for them to get a pedicure the day of the wedding. What do you think? I don’t want to get cheesy crap they wont ever use. It is a beach wedding so they are going to want their toes done anyway and I know all of them love bath and body works.

What is that tool that clips the edges of your toe nails?

When I had my feet done at the salon for a pedicure they used this tool that cut the corners of your toe nails so it would be easy to trim the rest of the toe nail (the big toe on both feet) but I don’t know what that tool is called. Does anyone know? Where can I buy it? Amazon, Sephora?
its not a regular toe nail clipper, yes but Sally’s is closed at 11pm at night and I am curious as to what that tool might be called.

How much or what percentage do you tip at the spa?

As a surprise, I made appts for my mom & myself to each have a hot stone massage and mini facial, plus a pedicure for me and a manicure for her. Is there a standard amount or percentage to tip for these services? I am in Pittburgh if that makes a difference. Thanks!

Spa week? Please answer?

Hi there!
I want to groom myself from the toes to the top of my head, and be done by the end of this week. I’m doing it to take my mind off other things.
I was wondering, what should I do each day?
Example:

Sunday: Pedicure, foot massage.
Monday: … etc.

Do you think you could list the days and tell me what to do?

How do I get rid of toenail fungus?

In the summer should a guy get a pedicure & would a woman?

In the summer should a guy get a pedicure & would a woman notice if he were to have one . (would you notice if he used clear nail polish)

I have never gotten a pedicure but i notice that when i take care of my feet in conjunction with good grooming exercise that women can detect a foot fetishy vibe .
